Elaboration and launch of report #RegionyNEXERY2020

NEXERA is Poland's number one wholesale telecommunications operator, developing a fibre-optic access network (NGA) with high bandwidth (min. 100 Mb/s). The shareholders of NEXERA are companies operating on the global telecommunications market for years: Infracapital and Nokia. 

Based on the Digital Poland Operational Programme (POPC), NEXERA is building an optical fibre network in 14 areas of central and north-eastern Poland. The programme aims to eliminate those places in the country which do not have access to very fast Internet and to counteract digital exclusion of European Union citizens. Thanks to NEXERA's activities, by the end of 2022 over 670 thousand households and almost 3 thousand schools and educational units will be within the reach of the most modern fibre-optic network. 

In 2019, NEXERA initiated its own report #RegionyNEXERY2019, which is the result of a survey conducted jointly with GfK agency. The report is one of the most cross-sectional sources of knowledge about Polish Internet users in areas where broadband Internet access is lacking or limited. In 2020, the second edition of the survey was completed.

The targets: 

Parallel to our client's ongoing communication service, our task was to prepare the #RegionyNEXERY2020 report on the basis of the results of the study carried out by GfK, as well as to conduct a launcher of the report in a situation of limitations related to the coronavirus pandemic. 


In order to increase the attractiveness of the second edition of the report, we proposed to the client a new, evolutionary approach to the project. The content value of the publication was reinforced. The results of GfK's own research conducted in NEXERA regions were compared with interesting market data analysed by the InsightOut Lab team. As a result, the report presents not only figures, but also broad contexts and stories illustrating how the inhabitants of small towns use the Internet and what their needs are. These various stories have become a starting point for building further communication of the report in the media as well as on the LinkedIn channel of NEXERA.

The premiere of the report #RegionyNEXERY2020 came at a special time of restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, the event promoting the second edition was carried out exclusively online. OneMulti was responsible for comprehensive implementation of the conference, selection and arrangement of the TV studio, transmission of the event, selection of experts, implementation of interviews, preparation of animations, insights and animated presentation, conference translation and graphic design. Mariusz Pleban, CEO of OneMulti and head of InsightOut Lab, led the event and presented the results of four thematic chapters of the report.

The report was also communicated to the most important media in Poland and of course in the NEXERA regions. The document was sent to the most important company stakeholders. 

The effects: 

The conference broadcast on the day of its premiere was seen by over 200 recipients. Within 3 weeks of the premiere of the report #RegionyNEXERY2020, the results of the survey were quoted in several dozen media - both prestigious national and business titles, as well as in key technological and local media for the client, including Rzeczpospolita and, Puls Biznesu and,,, Parkiet,,,, CRN,
